Book an Appointment | Max Wellness by Krystal

Book an appointment

Start with an hour that isn't rushed.

Every appointment is virtual, wherever you are in the country. No referral, no call first, no labs required — pick a time, share your history through the secure portal, and leave the session with a written plan in the order to work through it.

What you leave with

A written plan you can actually follow, sequenced in the order to do it.

How it works

Three steps, start to plan.

Whatever brought you here — fatigue, hormones, gut trouble, brain fog, pain, or an exposure you can't shake — it starts the same way.

Step 01

Book

Pick a time online. No call first, no labs needed.

Step 02

Share your history

You'll get an invitation to a secure, HIPAA-compliant portal to fill in your history and upload any labs before the session.

Step 03

Get your plan

An hour together, then a complete written plan with your recommendations, laid out in the order to work through them.

Common questions

Before your first session.

Do I need labs before booking?

No. If you have bloodwork, a stool analysis, or imaging from the last 24 months, upload it to your client portal after booking and it will be reviewed through a functional lens before your session. If you have nothing, that's fine too — we start with your history and symptom timeline.

Is the appointment in person or virtual?

Virtual. Sessions run through a secure video link you'll receive with your confirmation, so it doesn't matter where in the country you are. All you need is a quiet spot and a stable connection.

How do I send my existing labs?

After booking you'll receive an invitation to a secure, HIPAA-compliant client portal. Upload PDFs or clear photos to your chart before the session so they can be reviewed in advance.

What if my labs are older than 24 months?

Older results still have value — they show the direction things were moving. Upload whatever you have. During the evaluation we'll determine whether updated markers are worth requesting from your primary care provider.

Do you prescribe medication or diagnose conditions?

No. Krystal is a Board Certified Naturopathic Doctor, not a Medical Doctor. She does not diagnose disease and does not prescribe or adjust pharmaceutical medication. Her work is nutrition, lifestyle, and targeted supplementation — food-based wherever possible — built around your symptoms, history, and whatever lab data you have. If you're already on medication, that stays between you and your prescribing provider, and your plan is built to work alongside it.

Do you take insurance?

This is a private-pay practice, which is what makes hour-long first sessions possible. HSA and FSA cards are accepted and a detailed receipt is available on request. Because naturopathic services are not covered by most plans and are not reimbursable in every state, confirm eligibility with your plan administrator before you pay.

What if I need to reschedule?

Reschedule or cancel from the link in your confirmation email, or through the client portal. If something comes up close to your appointment, call 409-206-7722 and we'll sort it out.

What is a Board Certified Naturopathic Doctor?

A BCND has completed training in natural and functional health approaches, focused on nutrition, supplementation, lifestyle change, and functional interpretation of lab data. Board certification is a private credential, not a state license — Texas does not license naturopathic doctors, and a BCND is not a physician.

Being straight with you

This is wellness and nutrition education, not medical care. Krystal doesn't diagnose or treat disease and doesn't prescribe medication. If you need a doctor, she'll tell you.
